An alarm that actually wakes you for an open
Reminders are easy to sleep through, because a notification obeys your ringer switch and your Focus. If your phone is on silent overnight — and most people opening tomorrow have it on silent overnight — a reminder is just a notification you find in the morning.
Shift alarms are real alarms. The same machinery the built-in Clock app uses, so they ring through silent mode and Focus, survive the app being force-quit, and get the full-screen stop screen.
- Set it once. Every early shift on your schedule gets an alarm, and they follow the schedule when it changes.
- Choose how long before the shift to wake — 30 minutes to 3 hours.
- Choose which shifts count. By default only ones starting before midday, so a late close never wakes you at dawn.
Turn it on in Settings → Notifications. Needs iOS 26; below that your reminders keep working exactly as before.
