Three ways, and none of them ever need your email password. Forward a schedule email to the private import address the app gives you, or set that address as your notification address at work so every schedule arrives on its own.

No email schedule? Use a fixed rotation — 4-on-4-off, Pitman, DuPont or your own — and months fill in instantly. Or add shifts by hand with the + button.

Check you forwarded it to your exact import address (Settings → Import). If the format is unusual it can take a moment, and a few layouts still fall back to a general reader.

If a schedule won't import, email it to us and we'll add support for it.

A lot of them. Forward a schedule email and the app reads the common restaurant, retail and hospitality formats — plus rotating-shift rosters — pulling out each date, time and job.

If a layout is one we haven't seen, it falls back to a general reader and still does its best. When something looks off, forward it to us and we'll teach the app that format. You can always fix a shift by tapping it, so nothing is ever stuck wrong.

Shifts are stored in your workplace's local time and shown on your phone as-is, so they stay put even if you travel.

If a time looks off after an import, it's usually a format the reader misread — tap the shift to correct it, and send us the original email so we can fix the reader for everyone.

Yes. Add each workplace as its own job with its own pay rate and colour. Shifts, hours and pay estimates are tracked per job and rolled up together, so a week split across two or three places still adds up correctly and each one stays easy to tell apart on the calendar.

Yes — clock in when you start and out when you leave, and the app keeps your actual hours separate from what was scheduled. Log an unpaid break and it's subtracted from the total.

You can edit or delete any entry later, and actual hours export alongside your scheduled hours and pay.

Set your rate per job — hourly or a flat amount per shift — plus any overtime threshold, unpaid breaks and night or weekend differentials. Estimates are per shift and per pay period, even when your pay week and payday differ.

Tipped? Log what you actually made and the estimate tunes itself. It's an estimate to plan around, not an official paystub.

You can offer a shift you can't work and pick up ones that are going. Nobody sees your pay, rates or personal details in the process — only the shift itself.

It's for coordinating cover; your manager's system is still the source of truth for what's official.

Settings → Calendar sync. It gives you a private, read-only calendar feed you can subscribe to in Apple, Google or Outlook.

Apple updates fastest; Google and Outlook refresh external feeds every few hours, so a brand-new shift can take a little while to appear there.

Settings → Export hours & pay. Pick a range — a pay period, a month, next week, or the whole year — and export it as a CSV or a clean PDF you can check against your paystub or hand to someone who asked.

Turn reminders on in Settings, and make sure notifications are allowed for ShiftPilot in your iPhone's Settings → Notifications.

Reminders can fire the morning of a shift, an hour before, or both.

No. Your shifts, rates and tips are private to your account and are never shared with anyone. We don't sell data or show ads.

Yes. You sign in with Apple, and your jobs, shifts and settings are tied to your account, not the device. Install the app on the new phone, sign in with the same Apple ID, and everything comes back. No manual backup or export needed.

In the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. It permanently removes your profile, shifts, workplaces and any reports you filed.

It can't be undone and doesn't require contacting us. See the privacy policy for details.

Prices and any free trial are always shown in the app before you're asked to confirm, and you're never charged without choosing to subscribe.

Right now ShiftPilot is an iPhone app, and it runs on iPad too. Android isn't available yet — it's on the roadmap, and votes there decide the order.

Your calendar sync feed works anywhere, though: subscribe to it from an Android phone's Google Calendar and your shifts show up there.
